At Koinly, we’re looking for a Product Manager with a strong track record of independently shipping complex features from discovery and research to delivery and iteration.

You’ll play a key role in shaping the next chapter of crypto tax by working on complex, high-impact problems that matter to our users.

This is a hands-on, high autonomy IC role ideal for someone who’s strategic, technical, and deeply curious about crypto. You’ll work with a high degree of independence while partnering closely with design, engineering, and QA, and collaborate directly with our Founder on product direction.

What you'll do:

• Solve user problems through research and data: Dig into user feedback, behavior, and journeys to uncover pain points and opportunities. Combine qualitative insights and product data to inform scalable product improvements.
  
• Ensure technical quality: Work closely with engineers to understand how our product handles real-world crypto data. Investigate bugs, edge cases, and reliability issues and help debug or refine specs as needed.
• Shape and ship product end-to-end: Own features from definition to delivery. Define scope, write clear specs, create scrappy wireframes, test edge cases, and support smooth go-to-market.
• Prioritize ruthlessly and drive product independently: Manage your own backlog in Jira. Work directly with the Founder to align on priorities and balance impact across short- and long-term goals, and make smart trade-offs. Collaborate closely with engineers to keep the team focused on what matters most.
• Support integration quality:  Analyse transaction data to catch errors or inconsistencies, and collaborate with engineers to fix these issues and improve how we ingest, transform, and present crypto data. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with design, QA, marketing, and customer support to ensure features are well-scoped, well-tested, and well-received. You’ll keep stakeholders aligned through clear async updates and documentation.

In your first 30 days you’ll:

• Know the product inside out - after all, we expect our users to be able to do their taxes with Koinly in under 20 minutes.
• Work with Robin, our Founder, to clearly articulate the product roadmap.
• Create a shared brain across teams to empower independent decision-making.

What you bring

• Advanced crypto expertise: You have a deep understanding of cryptocurrency fundamentals, including liquidity, DAOs, transaction mechanics, and blockchain ecosystems.

• 5+ years of product experience: You’ve worked as a PM in fast-paced environments, are confident writing tickets, grooming backlogs, and working closely with developers.

• Analytical and technical fluency and curiosity: You love solving problems and can dive into (crypto) data to extract actionable insights. You’re also comfortable sifting through the code base when needed.

• Attention to detail: You spot the smallest of mistakes and have a meticulous approach to QA.

• Cross-functional collaboration: You communicate clearly and work well across marketing, support, and devs.

• Hands-on approach: You’re adaptable, enjoy getting involved and embrace a fast-paced, evolving industry.

• Highly organized and autonomous: You know how to manage complexity, drive progress without waiting for permission, and keep things moving in a high-trust team.

• Autonomy and ownership: You like working independently, managing your own backlog and solving ambiguity.

• You've built things from scratch: You’ve built products or features from 0→1, including defining scope, creating scrappy wireframes, iterating on feedback, and making trade-offs that balance UX, tech constraints, and speed.
